At the start of the past week, interview host Natali Morris and I had a 20 minute chat which has just been released on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUVftV1Hb2I
and also was posted on Twitter and on Rumble https://rumble.com/v2ys71x-why-the-west-hates-russia.html under the provocative title “Why the West HATES Russia?”
I am grateful to the hosts for bringing the issues in my 2015 book Does Russia Have a Future? to the wide audience of their 2 million subscribers via this professionally prepared and edited broadcast.
The interviewer uses a journalistic technique similar to the winning formula of Tucker Carlson and the results, I believe, will both entertain and inform the audience.

Does Russia Have a Future?
It is not all that can be done to an “ally”, pouring champagne down the drain etc. There should be no hesitation to consider and at least intuitively affirm (if pending persuasion by presentation of convincing evidence, which albeit may never be sufficient for certain purposes) that “NATO’s secret army” in some variant form yet operates to “send messages” to potential deviants in Europe, such as France which on occasion perhaps for domestic political reasons mainly, seeks to put some perceivable distance between it and anglosupremacists.
But a welcome interview for, one hopes, an ever-wider audience.

How to make sense of the current European leadership seems to be a insolvable problem. In your explanation of this you didn’t mention “self interest”. For the time being at least, the people in positions of relative power in Europe think it is in their own interest to keep to the current narrative if they wish to get ahead. Perhaps, like the Vicar of Bray, they might change their tune if they thought this would be to their personal advantage. As Paul Keating, the former Australian Prime Minister, said “In the race of life, always back self-interest — at least you know it’s trying.”
