Back on Press TV (Iran)

https://t.me/presstv/191573

I have been interviewed on Press TV several times in the past month but their production team was not prepared to upload the videos into online podcasts. Now, it appears, they have resumed this function though they are disseminating it via the messenger service Telegram, which just happens to be very popular in Russia.

The two sentence summary shown on on the page that opens via the above link tells you the punch line of my interview.

I have been unable to access the video for lack of experience with Telegram. If any of the techies in the Community can convert this into a readily accessible video and send this to me will disseminate that.

  1. Hello Gilbert ,

If you happen to be at the Saint Petersburg economic Forum, or any future Valdai Forum where Putin or some other Russian bighitter is present, then please could you consider thinking of asking about the following:

When Trump in his 1st term in 2019 forced Russia ( technically Gazprom )into extending its contract with Naftogaz for transiting through the Ukraine natural gas ,albeit at reduced volumes, then why oh why was the problem of Ukraine blocking the flow of the North Crimean canal, causing drought in the Crimea, not negotiated over and solved concurrently ?

It just seems the most glaringly obvious thing to ” quid pro quo” over without touching the thorny issues over sovereignty in the Crimea and Donbass

In conjunction with Dmitriev and the “Spirit of Anchorage” wild goose chase that was,I don’t understand why Putin’s seemingly inept negotiating skills ,his negotiating teams aren’t harshly scrutinised more

No international propaganda effort with so-called environmental activists was conducted by the likes of RT to highlight the drought and damage to agriculture. I don’t recall Putin ever mentioning it as an issue in public between 2014-2022, never-mind as a topic of negotiations
