As I say here, the Kremlin may agree to receive a visit from Trump’s emissaries Kushner and Witkoff a few weeks from now but this is only out of politesse, to show that they are reasonable and open to talks when the fact is that Russia is no longer reasonable but is determined to finish off Ukraine quickly and brutally following a 180 degree pivot in their top command.
