  1. RBK reporting in depth on the fuel shortages, showing maps with what regions are under what restrictions and a sped up video of a several kilometre queue at one of the regional patrol stations.

The Federal channels are reporting well on the frontlines, but not so much on this

  2. The Times, which is pretty much the propaganda arm of MI6 is openly flaunting on its front-page that British drones are striking deep into Russia. What was an open secret but now shows the supreme confidence they have to openly admit it.

5 dead overnight in Rostov region.

Instead of the fairly meaningless favourability ratings of Putin, which in my opinion are propped up artificially only by the open vileness and incompetence of the Zelensky regime and European politicians, I would rather they perform a poll asking how many Russians think Putin will respond adequately to western military actions against Russia, or have any faith whatsoever that Russian naval fleets will reciprocate seizures of Russian vessels

  3. In regards to the banned Russian Yabloko that eventually sought capitulation, your advice being not nipping this cancer in the bud, but having the US empire’s NGO department pour its vast amount of funds through various ways into this cancer to let it grow, fester and metastasize? Banning it, even when it’s still an insignificant speck, was the right approach similar to heavily reducing access to much of the US empire’s dominated social media within the Russian information space.

The US-based social media platforms and algorithms the vast majority of people online use around the globe determine what the vast majority of people online see, hear, read and thus think and believe. This is the first step in convincing a nation to commit collective suicide.

    1. your concerns about Yabloko are in vain. this party has been around for over 20 years, so it is folly to speak of ‘nipping it in the bud.’ In past elections they tried their best to bring down Putin and failed miserably. it is certain the same would happen now.

their removal from the elections undermines the notion of Russian democracy. Under present conditions is it impossible for the US to pour vast funds into Russia to influence the elections. USIA as conduit is gone and the Russians have closed the ratholes.

  4. All true, and it is a missed opportunity to not allow them to run. You want to be showing the best of Russia to the west and to fascist Ukraine- by putting on a vibrantly debated election.

Just as Russia crossed a vital barrier by going against the Soviet legacy and letting people move out of the country freely once the SMO and then partial mobilisation began, and allowed the security danger of millions of Ukrainians to flood in without anyway of knowing if they were guided by the hand of the SBU – here was another golden opportunity to show something to fascist Ukraine, where elections are banned as is leaving the country for most men.

However, this practise is normal in any “democratic” western country. If you are in a state of war then no country on earth would allow a party running against a war that’s in or on the border of their own country.

It didn’t happen in the US in 1941 or UK in 1939 where elections stopped for the war

In fact some obscure politician from Farage’s party got put in jail for 9 years for what I can see as nothing more than appearing on Medvedchuk-owned TV channel in Ukraine! The US jailed Butina for a preposterous “foreign agents law”.

These countries are involved but not affected by the SMO so their measures should be seen as far less democratic, more draconian than Russia’s.

    But still an own-goal
